ASRIC 2019

The 1st ASRIC 2019 was successfully held on 18 September 2019, organized by the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Perak branch, Tapah Campus at Impiana Hotel Ipoh, in conjunction with the Ipoh International Summit on Professionalism, Research and Education (InSPIREd 2019).

The theme for 1st ASRIC 2019 was “New Horizons and Challenges in Applied Sciences”.

​

This conference aimed to provide a communication platform for academics, researchers, graduates and industry professionals to exchange, share and discuss their experiences and relevant outcomes about all aspects of applied sciences.

​

Objectives of 1st ASRIC 2019:

• To provide an appropriate platform for delivering the most up-to-date findings in applied science research.

• To promote networking and collaboration among local and international participants from both academic and industrial background.

• To provide a platform for interdisciplinary information exchange

 

The conference covered a wide range of disciplines including Applied Biology, Applied Chemistry, and Applied Physics, with topics such as biotechnology, renewable energy, smart materials, nanotechnology, and environmental science. Participants were also offered publication opportunities through conference proceedings with eISBN, with selected papers recommended for MyCite and Scopus-indexed journals, subject to review.
